In vast virtual Universe, players can get their own piece of land and build there a town. But not a usual town with usual buildings and people! It will be a super famous town of Springfield, where legendary Simpsons live. Homer, Marge, Lisa, Bart, and Maggie along with their neighbours, friends, and relatives will develop their city, but this time not in the popular cartoon: they become heroes of the very good game in city-building genre.
The Simpsons: Tapped Out is a free game for Android and iOS tablets and smartphones. It has been made by Electronic Arts Inc. in collaboration with creators of the original cartoon series The Simpsons.
Are you ready to build your own Springfield?

#Memory #Planning #Creativity #Constancy
All begin here when Homer plays his… city-building game at the work and doesn’t stop an explosion of the power plant. All the Springfield is wiped out, and Homer is the only one left. With you, he can rebuild everything and return everyone.
Basically, The Simpsons: Tapped Out is built on the same gameplay as many other city-building games. But there are also lots of distinctions. Mostly, they are connected with specifics of those boys and girls, men and women, which many gamers know perfectly well from the cartoon. It is a totally different feeling when you build not a usual power plant, but of Mr. Burns one. And usual houses from some games just can’t be compared with houses of Flanders or Van Houtens. If you know Bart or Liza, you will get special excitement, giving tasks to them, or seeing how their friends appear on your virtual streets.
It’s all about money and… donuts
Another one feature of the gameplay - gamers don’t have to bother about food, water, electricity and other resources for their characters. Among such things, we have only money and experience points (XP) in the game. If you have enough money, you can build whatever you like. If you have enough XP, you will see lots of fascinating objects in the game shop to place on the virtual land.
But stop… How can exist a game with Homer Simpsons, if there are no donuts? This sounds quite impossible, so developers have made this resource as well. But it is very special! Donuts are difficult to obtain from usual game tasks. But they are easy to buy with real money. Players can get lots of special items, available only for donuts. Without them your Springfield will be totally OK, but with no extravaganza. Also, donuts help to finish tasks quickly – but this is not the best use of them. Donuts are the main monetization scheme of the game, so it is nice to buy some to support the developers and to say thanks for their amazing job.
To get money and XP, players send their characters to accomplish different tasks. For example, Homer can clean Springfield from toxic waste or relax in a pool, Liza goes to school, Ned Flanders studies Bible, Apu works in his Kwik-E-Mart. Every character has many tasks for a different time and with different rewards. Many buildings also give money time after time.
There are no strict rules about what to build and when to do so. Gamers can be creative here and do almost anything. Of course, the game proposes quest for opening new characters or for achieving some prizes, but they aren’t necessary. Place any building anywhere to make Springfield of your dream.
Exciting events and a glimpse of multiplayer mode
The Simpsons: Tapped Out is an ever-changing game. Time after time in your Springfield, different celebrations and special events begin, like Halloween or Christmas. They bring new unique objects and characters, special missions and special resources. So, the game can really surprise and involve gamers to the city-building process.
A multiplayer feature here is not really powerful. It is rather a glimpse of multiplayer mode – you can connect your Facebook account, find friends, who play the game, visit their Springfields, and perform some tricks there. XP, money, and special Friends Points will be rewards for you. Friends Points can be spent on special objects.
The game has some... little... negative sides too. Not for all, just for some gamers. It asks for lots of your time – without this, it will be impossible to develop Springfield to a decent level. Also, The Simpsons: Tapped Out may be just boring for those, who don’t know or don’t like the cartoon.
