A stone block with eyes and moustaches doesn’t like to be alone, so he revives multiple creatures, which, in fact, are various objects, such as a mouth, flowers, or spoon. They all are super happy and cheerful, so just being with them is a pleasant experience.
This is a story of a small and very unusual game, named Wattam. It’s available for PlayStation 4 and PC.
The author of Wattam is Keita Takahashi. You might know another his creation, the game Katamari Damacy. This game designer has a unique style of pure phantasmagoria and a specific atmosphere of weirdness.
In Wattam, players should solve simple puzzles to refill the world with living objects. The gameplay is not super extraordinary – it offers rather an excuse to delve into this colourful world and spend some time with those creatures. The playing experience here is very short (around 2 hours).
